What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a kind of a natural therapy which aims to restore the normal function of the body. Chiropractors use variety of techniques such as muscle release, joint mobilisation, adjustments, and rehabilitation in order to relax the muscles and restore flexibility and strength of the body. The diagnostic and therapeutic protocols are based upon scientific evidence.
Majority of chiropractic care involves manipulation/adjustment which is often known as "cracking" of the spine.
All chiropractors in Australia are required to complete a 5 year course and must be registered with AHPRA, and chiropractic care is covered by all health funds.
